PROFESSIONAL WAY:
01/04/1992 a 30/09/1992 – ANECOOP. Evaluation of new varieties of stone fruit within a project developed by ANECOOP.
From 1993 . Producers assessor for several Cooperatives and private citrus big producers in Valencia until 1997.
1995 to 1997 – in the company A.I.E. DE L’HORTA DE VALENCIA –CONHOR-. A group of five small cooperatives that joined their efforts for sells, working closely with ANECOOP S. COOP. The main crops were Citrus, potatoes, seedless water melon, fennel, pumpkin, and Chinese cabbage.
My position or responsibilities were as: – Technical Director of a group of farms and producers inside the association where we carried out the citrus crop as Integrated Crop Management. – Quality Control and Systems Coordinator for the four pack houses of the group. Working closely to the Quality and Systems Department of ANECOOP.
1997 to 2005 – FRUTAS ROMU S.A. (citrus exporter).
As Technical Director, my responsibilities were to lead the Romu’s Integrated Production of citrus and start implementing and certifying the quality management systems, food safety and all other systems as listed below: – ISO 9002;1994 Standard and its subsequent adaptation to the 9001;2000 – HACCP – BRC – EUREPGAP – Occupational Risk Prevention (Workers safety).

My actual company is a citrus producers organisation. We are a medium to large company that supplies some important retailers in Europe and works hard for improving and keeping update everyday for the best of our clients and producers.
As Director of Production. My work has provided several lines with a common factor, the coordination on all floors of the company and between the different departments: – Staff, relations with the workers’ committees (trade unions). – Projects, investment in machinery an facilities – Packaging suppliers, evaluation and prices policy. – Production, plan, coordinate and monitor, the different departments involved in the full production process, orchards, packhouses, quality, and commercial.
COLLABORATIONS:
2001 Trip to Peru to asses and monitor the producers’ association CPF, in their first shipments of Satsumas Okitsus to the United Kingdom.
2002, I was invited to travel to Peru by CPF for a presentation at their CONGRES OF CITRICULTURE. The presentation was about my experience with the implementation of the different management systems (ISO, EUREPGAP, BRC, etc.).
2003 ans 2005 collaborated with a presentation in the MASTER COURSE OF CITRICULTURE that organizes the UPV (Universidad Politecnica de Valencia) and IVIA (Valencian Institute for Agricultural Investigations).
2004 collaborated with a presentation in the MASTER COURSE FOOD SAFETY, organized in the “Universidad Autónoma de Madrid). The presentation was about HACCP and its integration into the overall management of the company.
From 2009 till today member of the ISC in the GLOBALGAP INTEGRITI PROGRAM
